The Indianapolis Star publishes basic obituaries for residents of Marion, Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnsons, Morgan and Shelby counties. The basic obituary includes the deceased's name, age, city of residence and details about visitation and services, OR a single item regarding contributions for a cost.
Families who want to personalize their loved one's obituary by including more information, a photo or emblem may do so at a cost. Your funeral home will provide information on rates. Questions should be directed to the funeral homes, or you can email us.
